FLOW is a non-profit organization that promotes freedom and the entrepreneurial spirit as ways to move toward a better society, and FLOW attempts to go beyond left and right.
For example, while advocating economic freedom, FLOW is one of the freedom-oriented organizations that show recognition that land is a special case. In his essay on The Flow Vision for the 21st Century, Michael Strong looks forward to seeing support developing "for a green tax shift using geonomic principles and for innovative property rights solutions and Ostrom solutions to commons problems".

This is a group funded by John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods. He gave a talk that says a little bit about this group, reprinted in the June 2006 Liberty magazine.
Thanks, Jim. I'd seen Mackey's talk recently on some discussion lists, but didn't realize until now (or had forgotten, anyway) that he was the guy behind FLOW.
