Mutualist Blog: Free Market Anti-Capitalism

To dissolve, submerge, and cause to disappear the political or governmental system in the economic system by reducing, simplifying, decentralizing and suppressing, one after another, all the wheels of this great machine, which is called the Government or the State. --Proudhon, General Idea of the Revolution

Still More William Greene Literature Online

Shawn Wilbur continues plugging away. He now has William B. Greene's 1857 work, The Radical Deficiency of the Existing Circulating Medium, and the Advantages of a Mutual Currency, online.

In this post, he links to some of the Leslie Brock Center's primary source material on the Massachusetts Land Bank of 1740: Governor Hutchinson's hostile account of the undertaking; and an anonymous 1744 pamphlet.

And finally, he's got (motherlode!) a parallel text of the 1849, 1850, and 1857 works.

So, to summarize, here are the mutual banking works online to date at Libertarian Labyrinth:
Equality (1849)
Mutual Banking (1850)
The Radical Deficiency of the Existing Circulating Medium (1857)
Combined Text

The remaining major text, the 1870 edition of Mutual Banking (1974 Gordon Press facsimile), is available at The Portal.
